US September steel import licences increase
With yet another signal that all goes well with the US economy, import licence applications for steel mill products grew month-on-month in September. According to data from the US government International Trade Administration department monitored by Kallanish, import licences for 3,519,374 tonnes of steel products were issued in September. This was an increase of 5.4% on those issued in August.
