U.S. sees steel imports continue to grow in January
The US imported 4,250,000 net tons (nt) of steel in January, or 16.8% more than in December 2014 according to the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), which bases its figures on preliminary Census Bureau data. The increase follows a month-on-month slowdown at the end of last year.
