US International Trade Commission knocks down electrical steel trade barriers
The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has blocked attempts by the Department of Commerce to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of grain-oriented silicon steel (GOES) from China, the Czech Republic, South Korea and Russia. The petitioners are, however, reportedly planning to appeal to the US Court of International Trade, Kallanish understands.
