UK passenger car production for home market soars in March
UK passenger car production for the domestic market surged again in March according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). A year-on-year dip in production for export however caused total year-to date output to stall. The production of commercial vehicles continues to grow apace meanwhile, supported by a buoyant UK market, SMMT says in a report monitored by Kallanish.
