UK passenger car output plunges year-on-year in August
UK car production declined heavily year-on-year in August as shutdowns due to holidays affected output according to the UK’s Society of Motor Traders and Manufacturers (SMMT). Working days were less in August because of the timing of factory holidays during this calendar year, the organisation suggests.
