UK passenger car demand soars but total February on-year output slips
A hefty rise in demand from an increasingly buoyant domestic market was not enough to prevent total UK passenger car production from slipping year-on-year in February. Export demand remains depressed according to a report by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) monitored by Kallanish.
