UK parliament holds steel industry debate with little outcome
The British House of Commons discussed the UK steel industry on 14 January. The opposition Labour party chose to use one of its 17 per year so-called “opposition day” debate opportunities to challenge the coalition Conservative/Lib-Dem government over its current and future policies for the domestic steel sector.
