UK construction sector growth slows slightly in July but resurgence continues
The UK construction sector, one of the most steel-intensive in the world, has continued its resurgence in July according to the latest survey by the UK’s Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
The CIPS Markit survey Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) registered 62.5 in July, down slightly from 62.6 in June but above the neutral 50.0 mark for the fifteenth successive month, Kallanish notes.
