UK car production for domestic market surges again in May
UK passenger car production for the domestic market continued to grow year-on-year in May according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). Production for export however continues to slip in the other direction. Commercial vehicle (CV) output meanwhile rose strongly again supported by both buoyant UK and export demand, SMMT says in a report monitored by Kallanish.
