US, UAE bookings spur 3% increase in Turkish rebar exports in December
Turkish rebar exports in December increased 3% year-on-year to 754,300 tonnes, reversing the decline seen in the previous two months of the fourth quarter. The average price of exports that month, however, plummeted to $501/tonne fob from $583/t in the corresponding month of 2013, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
