Chinese environment ministry criticises two steelmakers for pollution
The Ministry of Ecology and Environment on 30 June criticised Yangjiang City for serious dereliction of duty due to the long-term open-air storage of a large quantities of hazardous waste in the city. Last week, 34 staff of Jiangsu Shagang Group in Zhangjiagang City were investigated over the illegal storage of slag, Kallanish notes.
