Turkish scrap imports plunge in April as billet procurement rises
Turkish scrap imports decreased -33.3% year-on-year in April to 1.168 million tonnes as US-origin scrap prices remained high. The average overall price of imports was down $109/t to $258/t cfr Turkey, Kallanish learns from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
