Turkish scrap imports down in March as billet bookings surge
Turkish scrap imports declined 7% on-year in March to 1.32 million tonnes, as US-origin prices of the feedstock remained stubbornly high despite Turkish rebar exporters being unable to push through price hikes, Kallanish learns from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
