Turkish scrap imports fall, billet imports surge again in July
Turkish scrap imports continued their decline in July as billet imports grew further. Scrap imports declined -11.6% year-on-year to 1.54 million tonnes and their average overall price fell by $94/t to $282/t cfr Turkey, Kallanish learns from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
