Turkish rebar exports down 12%, prices plummet $85/t on-year in January
Turkish exports of rebar declined 12% year-on-year in January to 542,227 tonnes, while their average price plummeted to $489/t fob from $574/t in the corresponding month of 2014, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data. The tonnage was also a significant reduction from the 754,300t exported in December 2014.
