Turkish producers prefer CIS over US scrap in January-September
Turkish crude steel production inched up 0.3% year-on-year to 21.57 million tonnes in January-September, but scrap consumption fell 1.6% due to lower electric arc furnace-based output, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Producers’ Association (TCUD).
