Turkish pipe exports fall 13% in August on Iraq crisis
Despite shipping more product year-on-year to various major export markets in August, Turkish steel pipe exports declined 13.4% to 140,450 tonnes last month as deliveries to Iraq were almost halved due to the local crisis, Turkey’s Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (CEBID) says. The value of these exports was down 23% to $116.03 million, Kallanish learns.
