Turkish iron ore imports grow y/y in April as scrap imports drop
Turkish iron ore imports increased in April, while scrap imports declined, Kallanish learns from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Turkey's iron ore imports grew 31.8% year-on-year in April to 1.02 million tonnes. The average import price of iron ore, however, plunged to $86/tonne cfr from $145/t a year ago, TUIK statistics show.
