Turkey becomes net steel importer in May, TCUD says
Turkey has become a net importer of steel after registering a 39.7% year-on-year surge in imports to 1.66 million tonnes in May, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD). The value of these exports edged up 0.5% y-o-y due to a decline in prices to $1.05 billion.
