Tubos Reunidos agrees joint venture with Marubeni-Itochu
Tubos Reunidos S.A. (TR) and Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars Europe Plc (MITE), the UK subsidiary of Japan’s Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc., have announced an agreement to set up a joint venture company in Álava Spain, Kallanish learns.
The new plant, which will begin production during the first quarter of 2016, will manufacture, market and supply premium Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) for oil and gas drilling for African and Middle Eastern markets.
