Tangshan forces environmental revamp
Tangshan in China’s Hebei province has issued new temporary guidelines which could force a surge of investment into revamping sintering, iron making and steelmaking plants in the city over the next three months. The move could add pressure on facilities to cease production, reducing iron ore demand and supply of steel, Kallanish notes.
