Tangshan Bohai orders two BFs from MCC
Northern China’s Tangshan Bohai Steel has contracted 22MCC Group, part of the China Metallurgical Group (MCC) to build two blast furnaces and related infrastructure for its new coastal steelworks. The new plant is the result of an ongoing reorganisation of Tangshan’s steelmakers which could reduce overcapacity and steelmaking costs, Kallanish notes.
