Taigang invests in steel refining
Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel, a subsidiary of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Taigang), has commissioned a refurbished degasser supplied by Germany’s SMS Mevac. The company has been investing in its facilities and plans to fully utilize its 4 million tonnes/year of crude stainless steel capacity this year, Kallanish notes.
