Taigang commissions annealing lines
Northern China’s Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Taigang) has commissioned the last of four new annealing lines for its stainless steel cold rolling plant commissioned in May this year. Both the annealing furnaces and the CRC line were supplied by the state-owned MCC Tiangong, part of the China Metallurgical Corporation.
Taigang said at the start of the year that it intends to fully utilize its 4 million tonnes/year of crude stainless steel capacity in 2014.
