TK Steel Europe upgrades No 2 BOF + waste heat boiler in Duisburg-Bruckhausen
ThyssenKrupp (TK) Steel Europe began upgrading its No 2 basic oxygen convertor (BOF) in Bruckhausen, Duisburg early last month. The €21 million investment should be completed as quickly as possible, says the German company, which plans for the new converter to produce its first heat late July.
