SunCoke coal asset sale unlikely; Q2 coke production falls slightly
The sale of US metallurgical coke producer SunCoke Energy Inc’s coal mining business is no longer likely, the company says, due to challenging market conditions and lower metallurgical coal prices. The company will continue, however, to pursue an exit strategy from the coal business as it rationalises its mining operations to reduce costs.
