Strikes expected to continue at AST, Italy for at least another week
The 11 November summit between trade union representatives, government officials and the management of Italian special steels producer, Acciai Speciali Terni (AST) has failed to bring any positive results, sources in Italy tell Kallanish. Negotiations between all parties have now been postponed until 18 November, meaning the current strike action at AST is likely to continue.
“We will not sign any agreement which involves indiscriminate job cuts”…
