Strikes cut estimated 90,000t and counting from AST's Q4 output
Italy’s Acciai Speciali Terni (AST) has lost an estimated 90,000 tonnes of production, since workers at the mill began striking on 17 October, trade union sources tell Kallanish. The workers’ actions have not been continuous, but their intermittent strikes and blockades have resulted in some 20-25 lost production days, sources calculate.
