Steel price rebound ends

Chinese steel futures prices ended their short-lived rebound and rebar lost ground slightly on Monday. Iron ore prices also confirmed their level close to the $70/tonne mark, Kallanish notes. The May 2015 rebar contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange lost Yuan 21/t over the day to close at Yuan 2,521/t ($411/t).
