Steel Tube Inc expands North Carolina facility
Increasing demand has prompted US manufacturer Steel Tube Inc (STI) to expand its UV and corrosion-resistant mechanical and structural tubing manufacturing facility in Statesville, North Carolina.
STI will double its capacity, from 1,200 tons/month to 2,400 tons/month, with a 32,000-square-foot expansion, including a new UV clear coating line for galvanized tubing and a new CNC sawing system. The project comes with a price tag of more than $3 million, which …
