Europe stainless tube market weak, nickel fall causes 'panic'
The stainless steel market is said to be in panic due to the sharp nickel price fall in recent days. Nickel lost roughly $2,000/t over the last two weeks causing fragility in all stainless products. With a loss of over €100/t ($110/t) in July on-month, tubes are the most affected products, industry sources tell Kallanish.
