South Korean steel consumption shows strong annual growth, slows in Q4: Posco
South Korea’s Posco expects Korean domestic steel consumption to lift only marginally in the fourth quarter. This still means however that the country is on course to use 8% more steel year-on-year in 2014. Both domestic crude steel output and steel imports have risen as a consequence as have exports, Kallanish observes.
