South Africa iron ore income surges in May
South African iron ore production rose 48% on-year in May, says Statistics South Africa without providing tonnages. This represents an index of 92.3 based on 100 in 2015. Total iron ore sales amounted to ZAR 12.23 billion ($840.9 million), up 116%, Kallanish notes.
