South African PPI deflation in July 'concerning' for metals sector
The deflationary pattern in the Producer Price Index (PPI) for Intermediate Manufactured Goods, which declined -0.3% on-year in July, is “…of concern” to the metals and engineering sector, says the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (Seifsa).
