South Africa steel body says proposed electricity price hike would 'cripple' industry
The Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (Seifsa) has called on the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) not to hike electricity prices by 25.3%, saying the move would “cripple” the country’s metals and engineering sector.
