Shougang Jingtang upgrades autosheet
China’s Shougang has completed installation of a fast cooling system at a hot strip mill in its Jingtang works which will allow it to produce higher strength steels. The plant is moving upstream to improve margins after it recorded its first profit earlier this year after nine years, Kallanish notes.
