Shougang Changing takes waste gas management back in-house
Changzhi Iron and Steel (Changgang), part of the Shougang Group, has entered into a repurchase agreement for a top gas recovery turbine (TRT) at its own plant. This is part of the groups centralisation of waste gas management, according to local reports. The steel mill will pay a total of Yuan 36.1 million ($5.9m) for the plant and to secure an agreement to break its current contract with the plant’s operator, Xi’an TCH Energy Technology.
