Shaoguan completes blast furnace expansion
Southern China’s Shaoguan Iron and Steel (Shaogang), part of Baosteel, commissioned its refurbished blast furnace No. 6 and a new coke oven earlier this month, the company says. The company hopes the projects will reduce emissions from the site as well as enhance quality, Kallanish notes.
