Shangang begins tenders for Rizhao steelworks
Shandong Iron and Steel Group (Shangang) has begun tendering key contracts for the construction of its planned 8.5 million tonnes/year steelworks in Rizhao in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong, the company says. There is still no comment on Shangang's proposed merger with Rizhao Iron and Steel (Rigang), Kallanish notes.
