Shandong Steel to build pipe plant in Morocco
Shandong Iron and Steel Group (Shangang) signed an agreement with the Moroccan finance minister in Rabat on Tuesday to build a new pipe plant in the North African country. Shangang will invest 1.3 billion dirhams ($150 million) in a 250,000 tonne/year line pipe making facility at a 14 acre site in Morocco’s Tanger free zone, reports Agence Ecofin.
