Severstal set to supply 80,000t of large pipe to Gazprom
Severstal’s Kolpino Izhora Pipe Mill (IPM) is going to supply more than 80,000 tonnes of large-diameter pipes (LDPs) to Gazprom for repair and operational needs, Kallanish learns from Severstal. The scope of supply will include 1,220 and 1,420mm pipes, made at Cherepovets Steel Mill.
“The Kolpino site has serious long-term experience of producing this assortment,” says director of pipe production Dmitry Pokrovsky.
