Scholz Edelstahl mystery buyer surfaces at last
The buyer of Scholz Edelstahl, the former steel distribution arm of recycling group Scholz AG, has turned out to be Amtek of Mumbai, a major Indian producer of integrated automotive components.
Scholz Edelstahl, distributing a range of special steels including special structural, heat-treated, machine, tool or stainless steel in billets and bars, was sold to an unnamed investor in July 2014. The identity of the investor has remained undisclosed since then.
