Saudi pipemaker to receive new mill components in September
Schuler has completed pre-assembly of the large-diameter spiral welded pipe mill to be shipped to Group Five Pipe Saudi. The Saudi Arabian pipemaker will receive delivery of the mill components in September, the technology supplier – part of Austria’s Andritz Group – tells Kallanish.
The 400,000 tonnes/year mill will produce spiral submerged arc welded (SSAW) pipes with diameters of 508-2,235mm (20-88 inches) and lengths of 12-24.4 meters. …
