Saudi Steel Pipe wins Aramco, Egypt contracts
Saudi Steel Pipe (SSP) has secured two contracts worth a combined SAR 80 million ($21.3m) to supply welded pipe to Egypt and oil giant Saudi Aramco, Kallanish learns from the firm.
The SAR 50m Egypt contract stipulates the supply of 10 and 12-inch diameter API grade pipe for use in an oil pipeline. The SAR 30m Aramco deal, meanwhile, will see SSP supply 8-inch diameter pipe from its newly-commissioned 80,000 tonnes/year medium-diameter pipe mill. The financi…
