Salzgitter U.S offshoots land more major pipeline contracts
Germany’s Salzgitter says that two of its U.S. subsidiary companies have been awarded two major contracts to manufacture pipes for new natural gas infrastructure that will serve the south-eastern United States.
Berg Steel Pipe Corp. and Berg Spiral Pipe Corp. in Panama City and Mobile are subsidiaries of Europipe GmbH, Mülheim, Germany, a joint venture of Salzgitter AG and AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke, Kallanish notes.
