Sail awards contract for new hot strip mill
Steel Authority of India (Sail) has awarded a contract to build a 3 million tonnes/year hot strip mill at its Rourkela Steel Plant in Odisha. The contractors are Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) and Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The new unit is scheduled for commissioning in early 2018.
