SMS Siemag set to modernise SSAB Lule cold rolling mill
Steelmaker SSAB continues to upgrade facilities at its Swedish mills. Steelmaking equipment specialist SMS Siemag confirms to Kallanish that it has landed a contract to modernise SSAB’s tandem cold rolling mill at Borlänge. This follows Siemag’s announcement of earlier this week that it will upgrade the converter shop at SSAB’s Luleå works (see Kallanish 27 October).
