Russia exports 35.5mt of ferrous in Jan-Nov 2014
In the eleven months of 2014, Russian ferrous exports totalled 35.5 million tonnes, which generated an over all $18.7bn in revenues, according to data from the Federal Customs Service.
Nearly a third, or 12.2mt of this was sold as semi-finished products, bringing in revenues of $6bn. Of this, just 200,000t was exported to other countries within the CIS, while 12mt was shipped to third-country markets, according to data seen by Kallanish.
