Royalty increase not seen hurting Oman chromite miners
Oman’s increase in mining royalty rate from 5% to 10% effective 1 July is unlikely to have a significant impact on the country's chrome ore miners. This is according to an official at Gulf Mining Materials Company (GMMC). The rate was previously lowered from 10% in 2010.
