Rebar mill delay, 'volatile' prices to hit Al Jazeera Steel earnings in 2015: bank
Omani merchant bar and welded pipe producer Al Jazeera Steel is now unlikely to launch rebar production until the first quarter of 2016, according to EFG Hermes. This delay, coupled with “volatile” steel prices and “intense” competition eroding ebitda margin, has led the investment bank to reduce its 2015 earnings forecast for Jazeera.
